Our Vision

Joseph's House is committed to a Camden where no neighbor sleeps outside, even for one night; where those brought down by poverty, addiction, or mental illness find a place of friendship motivated by the Gospel and Catholic Social Teaching, offering hope and practical help.

Our Mission

The mission of Joseph's House is to work collaboratively with others to aid the 'least of our brothers and sisters' by offering a continuum of services including emergency shelter, a range of supportive housing, and access to comprehensive social services.

Joseph's House is pleased to announce that as of February 2013 we have become a member in the United Way Donor Choice Program. If you would like to support Joseph's House through the United Way, there are three possible ways you can make a donation. First, you can make a donation through your work place by simply providing them with the Joseph's House Donor Code, which is 50704. If your employer does not offer that option, you can print out the Pledge Form. Simply complete the form and send it to the address indicated. Please include the Joseph's House Donor Code on your check. And finally, you can always call the United Way at 215.665.2598. Tell them you'd like to make a credit card donation over the phone and again, give them the Joseph's House Donor Code, 50704. We are happy to join with so many other member agencies who are doing so much good in the Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey area.
